The greatest hindrance to God’s plan in the life of believers are not others as we used to say but ourself, that is self- will, stubborn, pride and so much personal ambition. Deuteronomy 29:29, The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law. See also Lamentations 3:22–27, Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for Him. The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the one who seeks Him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. It is good for a man to bear the yoke while he is young. See Joel 2:12–13, Even now, declares the Lord, return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning. Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and He relents from sending calamity. Also read 2nd Corinthians 6:1–2, As God’s fellow workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain. For He says, In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you. I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.
The Lord says He loved you with an everlasting love. See Jeremiah 31:3–4, The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness. I will build you up again and you will be rebuilt, O Virgin Israel. Again you will take up your tambourines and go out to dance with the joyful.
We should do as much as possible to please God, so that we can bear fruit and rejoice and have a fulfilling life.
Doing the will of God and not your own will in whatever situation, either in prayer or in work, you will be repaid by God.
God is not unrighteous, that He will forget your works and labor that was done to His people. See Galatians 6:10, Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. See Hebrews 13:16, it says, And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. Also read Hebrews 6:10–12, God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them. We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, in order to make your hope sure. We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.
Greatness, power, glory and victory belong to God.
2nd Timothy 3:15–17 speaks of the two ways in which lives can be changed. It makes people wise for their salvation.
God has the power to carry out His will because He is SOVEREIGN, means having absolute control over everything. Psalm 24:1, The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.
God bless you.
