THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN 2
Christ’s rule never comes by force, but always by love and therefore can be, and sometimes is, pushed aside, even by a Christian, that is, Christian can fail to show in his life the qualities that he should.
This happens when he stops allowing Christ to rule over certain areas of his life.
Galatians 5:16–17, So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. Paul describes this constant struggle in the life of a believer, between our own will and that of Christ. We are engaged in a spiritual battle, and sometimes we can fail by letting self- will get the upper hand. Mostly when we said, we engaged ourselves with so call fighting the enemies or looking for miracle or riches.
In Matthew 6:33, Jesus gives us some very good advice. “But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well” This is very important because it means that we should always seek to keep Christ ruling on the throne of our lives by obeying His will instead of our own will.
Christ, our King, died so that we should no longer live for ourselves but for Him.
Therefore in any position we find ourselves, whether we are eating better, sleeping, travelling, praying, or even just breathing, it must be for Him. (Christ)
The Kingdom of God is present wherever people are living, not for themselves, but for Christ teaching; in other words, people who seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.
We must note that, there are three barriers that block our total surrender to God’s will, they are FEAR, PRIDE AND CONFUSION to what God’s love is.
Today it is your choice to surrender or not to this Kingdom. In this present Kingdom He only rules in the hearts of those who have surrendered their wills to Him in love. But in His future Kingdom everyone will confess Him as Lord. Philippians 2:10, That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth. Also read Daniel 7:13 – 14, In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into His presence. He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all peoples, nations and men of every language worshiped Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and His Kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.
Here are two more wonderful things about the future Kingdom. (1) Satan will be finally bound out, and will never again be able to bother members of the Kingdom of Christ. (2) Our self – will, will be totally ended, and will never be felt again by the members of the Kingdom of Christ, note, self – will being “totally ended, do not mean the destruction of our personality ; in that sense” “we” are still there.
NOW IS YOUR RIGHT TIME, SURRENDER!
