Galatians 3:8–14, The Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: All nations will be blessed through you. So those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith. All who rely on observing the law are under curse, for it is written: Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law. Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because, the righteous will live by faith. The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, the man who does these things will live by them. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree. He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.
You can be healed from any health problem. Jesus Christ still heal today as it was before. See Matthew 8:2, 5–6, 14–15, A man with leprosy came and knelt before Him and said, Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean. When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, asking for help. Lord, he said, my servant lies at home paralyzed and in terrible suffering. When Jesus came into Peter’s house, he saw Peter’s mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever. He touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to wait on him.
The book of Leviticus was written especially for the Old Testament priests. They had to act as the "Health Inspectors" for God’s people, then leprosy passed on by contact and spread to others very easily like many of kinds today’s modern contagious virus. Read Leviticus 13:45–46, The person with such an infectious disease must wear torn clothes, let his hair be unkempt, cover the lower part of his face and cry out, Unclean! Unclean! As long as he has the infection he remains unclean. He must live alone; he must live outside the camp.
These drastic measures may sound cruel, but in the days before antibiotics and other medicines effective against leprosy, diseases which might spread had to be controlled by the strictest rules. At a time, the Pharisees had made more rules about leprosy. It is said that some of them even threw stones to make sure that such people kept their distance. Others would hide themselves or run away when one was sighted, even from afar. No matter, you can be healed. Leprosy was a horrible disease, those who suffer from it may lose their fingers, toes and even their noses. Their hands and feet often become terribly disfigured. People were forbidden to touch anyone with leprosy as not only might they catch the disease but they would become ceremonial unclean. Leviticus 5:3, Or if he touches human uncleanness–anything that would make him unclean–even though he is unaware of it, when he learns of it will be guilty. With all these Jesus choose to do to cure the man that showed His very special compassion. Rad again Matthew 8:3, Jesus reached out His hand and touched the man. I am willing, He said. Be clean! Immediately he was cured of his leprosy.
This man’s faith in Jesus and in His power to heal was rewarded; Jesus cured him. My dear brothers and sisters learn from this miracle but before we ask God for anything, we ought to remember who He is and what He is like. And must approach God with the reverence that He is due.
Christians honor God when they do His will in obedience to His word.
Christians don’t just throw up their hands and say, "We will pray about it" We should enthusiastically desire that the will of God be done, because we know that His will is the best possible thing for us.
May God bless us with His special compassion.
