Colossians 1:10-14 “And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sin”
Colossians 3:23, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.”

In that parable, the master wanted his servants to use the talents so that he would receive the income when he returns. That means that we must do His will, carry out His plans, and glorify Him in our lives.
The parable of the talents teaches that God will reward His believers in the last day, who has been faithful to the call of Jesus Christ. (James 4:17) “Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn’t do it, sin”. Stay away from evil and also do good.
