You have heard that it was said, “Love your neighbour and hate your enemy. But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous” You will receive mercy of God this year 2018. So as you start this year 2018. Do less prayers of declare and decree and banding each one another but let us not love in word, neither in tongue, but in deed and in truth. 1st John 3: 18, “Dear children, let us not love in words or tongue but with actions and in truth.” Do not continue with the mistake of many Jews that the Messiah would be like other Kings. They thought that if the Messiah would rule all nations, He would do so by war. So they looked for one to lead them to fight against their nation’s enemy as some continue to fight enemies all days in their assemblies today.
We worship, pray, give, and read scriptures even do teach. We can still also miss scripture’s message unless our hearts open up to Jesus instructions of love. 1st Corinthians 13:–7, “If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”
Being part of the year 2018, is because He chooses us. Colossians 2 : 2 – 4, “My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. I tell you this so that no one may deceive you by fine-sounding arguments. » So let us allow God to bring the best out of our worst by listening to the teaching of Jesus not of the tradition. He teaches, pray for your enemies. John 13:17, “Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.”
