GOD KNOWS EVERYTHING GOOD OR BAD
BEFORE AND AFTER
God knows everything. In other words, He is omniscient. Therefore, to say that God is omniscient is to say that, God knows all things. OMNISCIENT = TO KNOW ALL. Psalm 139:1–6 says, O Lord, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O Lord. You hem me in – behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain. Hebrews 4:13 says, Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
There are many times when we are confused by the choices we have to make or the problems we face. Life seems hard and we don’t know what is the best thing to do to solve our problems. It is in times like this that the truth of God’s omniscience ought to be an encouragement to us. God knows everything perfectly and He will have a solution to all our problems.
All God’s promises will be kept, some sooner others later.
Jesus teaches, the will of God be done, on earth as it is in heaven in Matthew 6:10. You honor God when you do His will in obedience to His word. That God’s Kingdom will come.
If we believe that God really does keep His promises in spite of delays. It will lead us to more trust, obedience, contentment, patience, peace and hope. Receiving God’s blessing does not depend on your location or economic class. See Ecclesiastes 9:11, I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all.
God’s promise for those who seek Him and love Him in Proverbs 8:17, and for some one burdened with guilt. See 1st John 1: 9, If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. Also see Matthew 6:33–34, But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Human can behave like God in whose image we were made, only to descend to the level of the beasts.
We are able to think, choose, create, love and worship, but also to refuse to think, to choose evil, to destroy, to hate, and to worship ourselves, we build churches and preach hate and curse those who are not like us.
Apart salvation through Christ, there is no grand reason, only reasons, there is no grand narrative of human progress only countless stories of where people and their cultures.
War, economics and divorce they say have always divided christians’ mind, but there have always been pacifists and non-pacifists, capitalists and socialist, lax and rigid attitudes, the force of the argument is Scriptures. If God so acted good in the past, will you not trust Him for the present day. See Isaiah 35:6, Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert. Also see Isaiah 43:20–21, The wild animals honor me, the jackals and the owls, because I provide water in the dessert and streams in the wasteland, to give drink to my people, my chosen, the people I formed for myself that they may proclaim my praise.
Understand the Bible writers. Desert means “an uncultivated, uninhabited region” a place that fails in time of need, such as wilderness, barren, desolate, infertile, unproductive or waste.
Hope in God, He will make a way. Psalm 3:4-5, To the Lord I cry aloud, and He answers me from His holy hill. I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me. Also see Psalm 121:2, 7–8, My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. The Lord will keep you from all harm – He will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
You are blessed in Jesus Christ.
