FOCUS ON WHO GOD IS.
Regardless of any circumstances, God is real, no matter how one feel, remind yourself what you know to be eternally true about God. His unchanging nature. He is all- powerful. He notices every detail of your life.
We need to rely on the promises of God, not our emotions. God’s grace is still in full force and He is still for you, even when you don’t feel it, See Hebrews 13 : 5, Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, Never will I leave you ; never will I forsake you. And see what Paul says in Philippians 4:13, I can do everything through Him who gives me strength. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says that there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven. It says about God given seasons. Feel good enough to come to God. Jesus said in Matthew 9 : 12 that they that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
The qualities which grow in the life of the true believers are:–
(1) Confidence in God
(2) Patience
(3) Hope.
Because God always keeps His promises inspite of DELAYS. God faithfulness is illimited. Jeremiah 29:11 – 14 says, For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you, declares the Lord, and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.
Call to me, and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know, says the Lord in Jeremiah 33:3.
James 1:25 says, “the person who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it – he will be blessed in what he does.”
Receiving God’s blessing does not depend on economic class, nationality or location.
Read about the blessing of God concerning non Jews people. Luke 4:24–27 says, I tell you the truth, he continued, no prophet is accepted in his hometown. I assure you that there were many widows in Israel in Elijah’s time, when the sky was shut for three and a half years and there was a severe famine throughout the land. Yet Elijah was not sent to any of them, but to a widow in Zarephath in the region of Sidon. And there were many in Israel with leprosy in the time of Elisha the prophet, yet not one of them was cleansed – only Naaman the Syrian.
We want to experience human love and trust and joy. We want to experience divine love, trust and joy, if, we should know we are not ourselves by ourselves.
We will only be secure in life when we know the true meaning of God through Jesus Christ. Note hope is as essential to your life as air and water to your living. You may feel you are facing an impossible situation, but the Bible says God is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of. See Jeremiah 29:11.
