Everything works for good for those who love God. When something happens to us that we don’t understand we ought to trust that God is Sovereign and is in control of every situation and circumstance, however dark thing may look. God still remain good.
Jesus commended the faith of a Roman officer in Matthew 8:5–11, When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, asking for help. Lord, he said, my servant lies in home paralyzed and in terrible suffering. Jesus said to him, I will go and heal him. The centurion replied, Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me, I tell this one, Go, and he goes; and that one, Come, and he comes. I say to my servant, Do this, and he does it. When Jesus heard this, He was astonished and said to those following Him, I tell you the truth, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith. I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.
Like Samson, who was morally weak, and like Jephthah, a social outcast born to an unwed mother, out of weakness were made strong. They didn’t start out strong, they became strong as you will be in Jesus name. Their courage was forged in the fires of adversity. And if they can do it by God’s grace you can too.
For reasons God do not really explain, He choose to work through ordinary people like us. So He, places us in situations that unlock our compassion and creativity, or connects us with those who can open the right door at just the right moment and makes us a solution where-ever we go.
Many of the world’s greatest accomplishments were made by people who just decided to feel the fear and do it anyway. They understood that if it did not require faith, it neither pleased God nor involved Him. Please put everythings into God’s hands. Matthew 7:11 says, Our Father in heaven will give good gifts to those who ask Him.
There are promises of God for all kinds of people. Just as men, women, and children wear different kinds of clothes, so there are different promises for sad people, widows, children, tempted people, indeed for every kind of person.
If we believe that God really does keep His promises in spite of our weaknesses or delays. It will lead us to more trust, obedience, patience, peace and hope.
I invite you to give thanks to God because He always keeps His promises. So by the grace of God, you will be well.
